98-154Council File # 9� /S� �n��`�� GreenSheet# 0!(S - K � RESOLUTION d l„L�L/i�L� I.( � „ CITY OFjSAINT PAUL, MINNE,S�]fA „ _ ; �� Presented by_ Referred To � 1 hsgforum.tes 2 Policy Forums 3 WFIEREAS the Department of Planning and Economic Development and the Housing Information Office have 4 proposed and are wflling to coordinate housing policy forums featuring housing experts from the MinneapolislSt. 5 Paul Family Housing Fund, I.ocal Inifiatives Support Corporation, the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency and the 6 Metropolitan Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council will continue to face major decisions which haue substantive impact on the construction, rehabilltation and sale and transfer of city hoasing stock for all income groups, and in 1998, will be required to adopt the Housing Plan portion of the city's Comprehensive Plan; and 10 WHEREA5, the Ramsey County Board has asked to be abie to attend such forums due to its role in regional 11 development and social service delivery. 12 THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED that the Council Secretary set up to two special Clty Council meetings in 13 addition to regulazly scheduled meetings in the community at locations to be determined, to receive information 14 about a wide range of housing policy issues, to be coordinated in Mazch and April by the Department of Planning 15 and Economic Development and the Housing Information Office, with assistance provided as needed by the Council 16 Research Office and that an invitation to attend forums be extended to the Ramsey County Board.
