98-132Council File # �� ^' ��a` U ' ����*��� RESOLUTION Green Sheet # �RSFa �� CITY OF SAINT PAUI, MINNESOSA t3 „_ „ � Presented By Referred To COmmittee: Ddte 4VHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul City Council has adopted the Phalen V11age Small Area Pian; and WHEREAS, the Phalen Village Small Area Plan recommends roadway and wetland improvements as well as removal of a portion of the railroad berm located on Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority Property; and WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has budgeted funds to complete roadway and cc^tland public improvements in the Phalen Village Area eonsistent with the Phalen Village Small Area Plan; and WHEREAS, removal of the berm m conjunction with the roadway and wetland project will add some costs to the roadway and wetland project hut will result in a reduction in the total cost to implement the Phalen Village Small Area Plan; and WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul is proposing to remove, regrade and restAre the berm from 300' south of Johnson Parkway to 1,000' north of Maryland Avenue; as part of the roadway and wetland project and WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul desires to enter into an agreement with the Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority which would specify conditions and cost participation in relation to the berm removal; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that we hereby authorize the proper city officials to sign the agreement.
