Effective January 1, 1999, the SAC rate will be $1,050 for communities with interceptors, and $1,015 for the tommunities of Cottage Grove, Hastings and Stillwatez who do not have metropolitan interceptor setvice. The 1999 ntes reflect an increase of $50 and $65, iespectivaly, SAC is collecced by your community as wezs connect to the Metropolitan Disposal System far the fiist time oc as a user's potential or peak sewage increases. The SAC funds collected pay for the resecve capacity portion of th� debt senice incuired to eacpand and imprwe sewer faciliUes. These facilities provide the sewer collection and treatrnent seivice stipulated for your community in the Metropolitan Council's comprehensive sewer p]an. Reminder: All SAC fees collected by the co*�+*n��+ty in 1999 are to be remitted to the Council at the 1999 rate regardless of when the pemritting process began.
