WFIEREAS, the Ramsey Couttty Sheriff's Office has provided an after school reading
program at Valley Recrea6on Center; and
WHFREAS, the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office can receive addifional funds if the

WHEREAS, in 1998 the funds designated for the reading program is $13,643.43; and

AGREENIENT
An Agreement, dated this 15th day of January, 1998, by and between the City of Saint Paul, a
municipal corparation of the State of Mimiesota, hereinafter referred to as "City" and the Ramsey
County Sheriff s Office, hereinafter referred to as "Sheriff'.
It is mutually agreed upon between City and Sheriff as follows that:
1. City shall advance to Sheriff $13,663.43 for the purpose of providing an aftet school reading
program at the Mount Airy Public Housing Community.
2. Sheriff shall follow the proposed program plan as specified in the contract with Ramsey
County.
3. City sha11 be reimbursed by the State of Minnesota for the $13,663.43 payment to the
Sheriff
from the State's After School Acriviries Grant Program according to procedures set forth by the State
and Ramsey County its fiscal agent.
4. Sheriff sha11 provide to City a11 program evaluation materials as required by the State.
5. Sheriff shall meet al1 requirements as set forth by the Summit UniversitylFrogtown
Afterschool Collaborative.
In Witness Whereof, the parties haue set their hands the date first written above.
