WHEREAS, on November 28, 1995, on behalf of the Police Department, the City entered into Lease
Agreement PD/19 with the State of Minnesota for 120 pazking spaces in "Parking Lot Y"; and
WHEREAS, the term of the said Lease Agreement PD/19 expired on June 15, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the parties to the said Lease Agreement PD/19 would like to extend the term an additional
two years and fifteen days;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to

AMENDMENT OF LEASE
THIS AGREEMENT is made this 22nd day of July 1998, by and between the State of Minnesota,
Department of Administration, hereinafter referred to as LESSOR, acting for the benefit of the Plant
Management Division and Citv of St Paul Deoartment of Police 100 ast 1 �th Street S+ Pa�i ,
Minnesota 55101, hereinafter referred to as LESSEE, shall be considered as an amendment and
addition to Lease Agreement No. I-4121.
WITNESSETH;
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Administration is empowered by Minnesota Statute 16B.24 Subd. 5
to rent out state-owned property;
WHEREAS, LESSEE.is a public law enforcement entity conducting business in the City of St. Paul;
WHEREAS, LESSEE use of the Leased Premises is for parking;
WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE entered into �ease No. I-4121 dated November 28 1995,
providing for the rental of One Hundred Twenty (120�non-designated parkino spaces loc��ted in
parking lot "Y", in the City of St. Paul, County of Ramsev, Minnesota, for use by LESSEE in
conducting its business; and
WHEREAS, the parties to this Lease Agreement deem certain additional terms and condit�ons
necessary for the effective continuation of said Lease Agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE; LESSOR and LESSEE agree to substitution and/or addi;ion of the foilowing
terms and conditions which shall become a part of this Lease Agreement No. I-4121, effective as of
the date set forth hereinafter.
LESSOR and LESSEE hereby agree that this Lease Agreement shall be renewed fo� an
additional term of two (2)years and fifteen 1(�5 days commencing on June 16. 1993 and
continuing through June 30. 2000, at the same terms and conditions as set forth in :he Lease
Agreement, except as provided for herein.
2. RENT

3. Ciause 17.2 of the Lease Agreement is canceled and superseded with the following: `
17.2 When applicable, LESSEE certifies that it has received a certificate of compiiance from
the Commissioner of Human Rights pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 363.073,
or that it has not had more than 40 full-time employees at any time during the previous
12 months and claims exemption from Minnesota Statutes, Section 363.073.
4. Except as modified by the provisions of this Amendment, said Lease Agreement is ratified and
confirmed as originaliy written.

WHEREAS, on November 28, 1995, on behalf of the Police Department, the City entered into Lease
Agreement PD/19 with the State of Minnesota for 120 pazking spaces in "Parking Lot Y"; and
WHEREAS, the term of the said Lease Agreement PD/19 expired on June 15, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the parties to the said Lease Agreement PD/19 would like to extend the term an additional
two years and fifteen days;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to

AMENDMENT OF LEASE
THIS AGREEMENT is made this 22nd day of July 1998, by and between the State of Minnesota,
Department of Administration, hereinafter referred to as LESSOR, acting for the benefit of the Plant
Management Division and Citv of St Paul Deoartment of Police 100 ast 1 �th Street S+ Pa�i ,
Minnesota 55101, hereinafter referred to as LESSEE, shall be considered as an amendment and
addition to Lease Agreement No. I-4121.
WITNESSETH;
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Administration is empowered by Minnesota Statute 16B.24 Subd. 5
to rent out state-owned property;
WHEREAS, LESSEE.is a public law enforcement entity conducting business in the City of St. Paul;
WHEREAS, LESSEE use of the Leased Premises is for parking;
WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE entered into �ease No. I-4121 dated November 28 1995,
providing for the rental of One Hundred Twenty (120�non-designated parkino spaces loc��ted in
parking lot "Y", in the City of St. Paul, County of Ramsev, Minnesota, for use by LESSEE in
conducting its business; and
WHEREAS, the parties to this Lease Agreement deem certain additional terms and condit�ons
necessary for the effective continuation of said Lease Agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE; LESSOR and LESSEE agree to substitution and/or addi;ion of the foilowing
terms and conditions which shall become a part of this Lease Agreement No. I-4121, effective as of
the date set forth hereinafter.
LESSOR and LESSEE hereby agree that this Lease Agreement shall be renewed fo� an
additional term of two (2)years and fifteen 1(�5 days commencing on June 16. 1993 and
continuing through June 30. 2000, at the same terms and conditions as set forth in :he Lease
Agreement, except as provided for herein.
2. RENT

3. Ciause 17.2 of the Lease Agreement is canceled and superseded with the following: `
17.2 When applicable, LESSEE certifies that it has received a certificate of compiiance from
the Commissioner of Human Rights pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 363.073,
or that it has not had more than 40 full-time employees at any time during the previous
12 months and claims exemption from Minnesota Statutes, Section 363.073.
