WITNESSETH; WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Administration is empowered by Minnesota Statute 166.24 Subd. 5 to rent out state-owned property; WHEREAS, LESSEE_is a public law enforcement entity conducting business in the City of St. Paul; WHEREAS, LESSEE use of the �eased Premises is for parking; WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE entered into Lease No. I-4121 dated November 28 1995, providing for the rental of One Hundred Twenty (120) non-desianated parkina soaces located in parking lot "Y", in the City of St. Paul, County of Ramsev, Minnesota, for use by LESSEE in conducting its business; and WHEREAS, the parties to this Lease Agreement deem certain additional terms and condiiions necessary for the effective continualion of said Lease Agreement, NOW, THEREFORE; LESSOR and LESSEE agree to substitution and/or addition of the foilowing terms and conditions which shall become a part of this Lease Agreement No. I-4121, effective as of the date set forth hereinafter. Clause 17.2 of the Lease Agreement is canceled and superseded with the foilowing: ' 17.2 When applicable, LESSEE certifies that it has received a certificate of compliance from the Commissioner of Human Rights pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 363.073, or that it has not had more than 40 full-time employees at any time during the previous 12 months and claims exemption from Minnesota Statutes, Section 363.073. 4.
