AMENDMENT OF LEASE
THIS AGREEMENT is made this 22nd day of ul 1998, by and between the State of Minnesota,
Department of Administration, hereinafter referred to as LESSOR, acting for the benefit of the P ant
Management Division and Citv of St Paul Department of Police 100 ast 11th Street S+ Paul.
Minnesota 55101, he�einafter referred to as LESSEE, shall be considered as an amendment and
addition to Lease Agreement No. I-4121.
WITNESSETH;
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Administration is empowered by Minnesota Statute 166.24 Subd. 5
to rent out state-owned property;
WHEREAS, LESSEE_is a public law enforcement entity conducting business in the City of St. Paul;
WHEREAS, LESSEE use of the �eased Premises is for parking;
WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE entered into Lease No. I-4121 dated November 28 1995,
providing for the rental of One Hundred Twenty (120) non-desianated parkina soaces located in
parking lot "Y", in the City of St. Paul, County of Ramsev, Minnesota, for use by LESSEE in
conducting its business; and
WHEREAS, the parties to this Lease Agreement deem certain additional terms and condiiions
necessary for the effective continualion of said Lease Agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE; LESSOR and LESSEE agree to substitution and/or addition of the foilowing
terms and conditions which shall become a part of this Lease Agreement No. I-4121, effective as of
the date set forth hereinafter.
LESSOR and LESSEE hereby agree that this Lease Agreement shall be renewed fo� an
additional term of two (2�years and fifteen (15) day� commencing on June 16. 1993 and
continuing through June 30. 2�00, at the same terms and conditions as set forth in ;he tease
Agreement, except as provided for herein.
2. RENT
2.1 LESSEE shall pay LESSOR according to the following rent schedule:

3. Clause 17.2 of the Lease Agreement is canceled and superseded with the foilowing: '
17.2 When applicable, LESSEE certifies that it has received a certificate of compliance from
the Commissioner of Human Rights pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 363.073,
or that it has not had more than 40 full-time employees at any time during the previous
12 months and claims exemption from Minnesota Statutes, Section 363.073.
4. Except as modified by the provisions of this Amendment, said Lease Agreement is ratified and
confirmed as originally written.
