We request this vacation for the following reasons: The property in question has not been used as a street or alley for many years, if ever. For at least the past 40 years, the property has been used and maintained by the current and previous owners of Lots 8, 9 and 10, whose garages abut the city property. This includes maintaining a sidewalk along the south side of the property (used for ingress and egress to and through Lot 10), mowing, planting, clearing, cleaning and other- wise using the properly.
