WHEREAS, upon approval of Council File 97-78, the Office of License, Inspections and
Environmental Protection sought approval for the submission of a grant from the
Minnesota Historical Society in the amount not to exceed $4,100 for the development of
educational materials to promote and explain the requirements of the historic
preservation activities in the City of Saint Paul, and
WHEREAS, on May 22, 1997, tlze Minnesota Historical Society's Governing Board approved
the Certified Local Government grant application which requested $4,100 for the
development of historic design issues pamphlets, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City Officials are hereby authorized to accept the
Minnesota Historical Society grant in the amount of $4,100.
