T7us a letter to officially request permission to install a patio immediately adyacent to my
building , Table of Contents restaurant at 1648 Grand Avenue in St.Paul.
The patio will iun on the east side ofthe building, will be seasonal with a cedar fence
azound it. It will be for restaurant use, and it supplants no pazking spaces. The land is
owned by our lattdlord, Macalester College. We do have their approval: I can have tl�em
send a letter to coufiim this ifnecessary. We would like to begin this process as soon as
possible as would like to open still this slimmer and I understand there is a notification
period required. I would like to note that I am confident of our approval as we are
surounded by mostly Macalester property, and the rest is mostly commercial. I do
uuderstand, however, that there aze some residential apartment units that are within the
notification zone and they ueed to be notified.
Euclosed is the application fee. Please let me know if there is anydiiug I can do to help
the process along.
