Based on Council and Mayoral priorities, PED began by considering several potential projects. Staff evaluated these projects in terms of the Livable Communities Demonstration Account criteria, as well as the projects' readiness to proceed, and submitted four project summaries to the Metropolitan Council by the pre-application deadiine of 7une 20: Brewery Neighborhood, Concord-Bluffs, Phalen Village, and Oakland Viliage. Final applications are due August 8 and Metropolitan Council staff has advised that we submit no more than two projects at that time. We are currently awaiting feedback from Metropolitan Council on the project summaries and will be meeting with Mayor Coleman within the ne� week to get his recommendation. The attached resolution is the generic one required by the Metropolitan Council. A substitute resolution which specifically names projects wiil be presented to Council as soon as we have the Mayor's recommendation.
