5 WHEREAS, Olson Brothers Liquor, Inc., dlbia Olson Brothers Liquor located at 678
6 University Avenue West, hoids Original Container, Off Sale Liquor and Cigarette licenses at
7 that location; and
8
9 WHEREAS, an adverse acfion was initiated by the Office of License, Inspections and
10 Environmental Protection against the licenses held by Olson Brothers Liquor, Inc.; and
11
12 WHEREAS, the purpose of the action was to impose conditions on the license which
13 LIEP believed were necessary to control problems with patrons of the liquar store; and
14
15 WHEREAS, at the administrative hearing, an evidentiary hearing was waived and the
16 licensee and LIEP s6pulated to conditions which would be placed on the license; and
17
18 WHEREAS, the Admuustrative Law Judge issued Findings of Fact, Conclusions and a
19 Recommendation based upon the stipulation of the parties and the matter was on far hearing
20 before the Saint Paul City Council on June 25, 1997; now, therefore, be it
21
22 RESOLVED, that the Findings of Fact, Conclusions and Recommendation of the
23 Administrative Law Judge dated June 9, 1997 aze hereby adopted in their entirety and the
24 following condifions shall be placed on the Off Sale Liquor license of Olson Brothers Liquor,
25 Inc., d(b!a Olson Brothers Liquor for the premises at 678 University Avenue West:

27 1. Between May lst and November 15th of each
28 year, licensee agrees to hire a security o�cer to
29 patrol the licensed prexnises, including the pazking
30 lot, for a muvmum of 42 hours per week. No
31 person will be allowed to consume alcohol in the
32 store or the parking lot, and licensee agrees to
33 patrol the premises, including the pazking lot south
34 of the building, for individuals who loiter and/or
35 consume alcohol.

37 2. The surveillance cameras which licensee has
38 installed on the side and rear of the building must
39 be in operation during all business hours and must
40 be able to be monitored by the employee or
41 employees on duTy.

3. The security officers on duty will be responsible
for enforcing violations of the law wluch occur on
the premises, and the store management and
employees will be responsible for calling the
police to report problems they cannot handle.
4. The licensed premises will be maintained free of
litter.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the pending adverse action will be dismissed upon
adoption of these conditions.
