These streets are very narrow due to the insufficient right of way. INITIATING ACTION This project was initiated by the Dept. of Public Works. PROPOSEDIMPROVEMENT Condemning and taking a additional right of way to allow for the construction of standard residential streets. Also condemning easements to allow for the construction of storm sewer outlets. ALTERNATE Do nothing. The existing narrow streets are not something that was ever designed and constructed but sort of evolved over time. The streets will have to be torn up for sewer construction and reconstructing them to the existing narrow configuration and within the existing R/W will become a liability for the City. rOST ESTIMATE Acquisition Costs TOTAL $40,000 ESTIMATED FINANCING 1993 C.I.B. funds $40,000 S^JRCE OF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION If additional information is needed, please contact Jack Davis at 292-6281.
