WHEREAB, the City of Saint Paul, acting through its right-of-way
engineer, has secured an agreement for the purchase of the
property described on the attached Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAB, that part of the property described on the attached
Exhibit "B" is needed for the Flood Control Project - Phase III,
and the remainder of the property lies within the boundaries of
the Lilydale/Harriet Island Regional Park. The price at which
.the property may be purchased at is in the amount of $235, 000, it
being a fair and reasonable price for the subject property as
determined by the right-of-way engineer; and
WHEREAS, the right-of-way engineer has commended the purchase of
said property at the amount stated above;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are
hereby authorized and directed to pay to First American Bank
Metro, record owner, the sum of $235, 000. Said sum to be charged
to Activity Code C92-2C031-0784-00000.
