97-83Council Eile �# •� Green Sheet # 34492 RESOLUTION INT PAUL, MINNESOTA Presented By Referred To 1 2 3 4 5 s 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 Committee: Date 1l� WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, through City Forces and a licensed electrical contractor, constructed a new traffic control signal on the Trunk Highway 35E ramp at Thompson and Grand Avenue in Saint Paul from Department of Public Works plans numbered P-1115; and WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOl) participated in 25% of the construction costs of this project because it affected TH 35E right-of-way; and WHEREAS, payment to the City of Saint Paul from the Minnesota Department of Transportation for MnDOT's share of the work on the above signal system is authorized by the terms stipulated in MnDOT cost participation agreement number 73030 negotiated between the City and MnDOT; and WHEREAS, payment by MnDOT to the City of Saint Paul is $30,964.37 and is based on final labor, material and equipment costs incurred from completing the project; and WHEREAS, Ciry of Saint Paul Department of Public Works staff reviewed the above agreement and recommend that it be approved and executed; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves Minnesota Department of Transportation agreement number 73030; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the Ciry of Saint Paul hereby directs that the proper City officials be authorized to execute the above agreement and sign all documents associated with it.
