WHEREAS, Certain lands in the City of Roseville, Ramsey Counry, Minnesota, were
purchased �vith funds from the Board of Water Commissioners for construction, maintenance and
operation of Board facilities.
WHEREAS, Tifle for said lands is in the name of the Ciry of Saint Paul for the benefit of the
Boazd; and
WFIEREAS, The Board did declare by Resolution No. 4493 that certain parcels wiUun said
lands, hereinafter refened to as the "Property", and described as follows:
Tract A: The West 1056.00 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 13, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County,
Minnesota, except the North 172.67 feet of said Northwest Quarter
of Southwest Quarter, lying east of the East 32.00 feet of said West

13.

WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 10. 15.1 of'the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, the proceeds
from the saie of land in the name of the City but heid for the benefit of the Boazd may be used
only for "the expense of operating the department, the repairs and mainYenance of the waYerworks
plant and property, and the payment of principal and interest on obligations issued for
watenvorks pztrposes; ' and
WHEREAS, The City holds no interest in the Property other than being the nominal fee holder;
and
WEiEREAS, Quitclaiming the Property to the Boazd will make it unnecessary to expend City
resources in effecting its sale; now, iherefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Properry is declared to be surplus property and the proper City o�cials
are directed to quitclaim the city's interest in favor of the Board.

WHEREAS, Certain lands in the City of Roseville, Ramsey Counry, Minnesota, were
purchased �vith funds from the Board of Water Commissioners for construction, maintenance and
operation of Board facilities.
WHEREAS, Tifle for said lands is in the name of the Ciry of Saint Paul for the benefit of the
Boazd; and
WFIEREAS, The Board did declare by Resolution No. 4493 that certain parcels wiUun said
lands, hereinafter refened to as the "Property", and described as follows:
Tract A: The West 1056.00 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 13, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County,
Minnesota, except the North 172.67 feet of said Northwest Quarter
of Southwest Quarter, lying east of the East 32.00 feet of said West

WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 10. 15.1 of'the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, the proceeds
from the saie of land in the name of the City but heid for the benefit of the Boazd may be used
only for "the expense of operating the department, the repairs and mainYenance of the waYerworks
plant and property, and the payment of principal and interest on obligations issued for
watenvorks pztrposes; ' and
WHEREAS, The City holds no interest in the Property other than being the nominal fee holder;
and
WEiEREAS, Quitclaiming the Property to the Boazd will make it unnecessary to expend City
resources in effecting its sale; now, iherefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Properry is declared to be surplus property and the proper City o�cials
are directed to quitclaim the city's interest in favor of the Board.

Board 3irected the General Manager to work with the City of Roseville to discuss the sale of
land to the City for park purposes. The City of Roseville has agreed to purchase certain
