Presented Referred To A � 31 Committee Date Whereas, the Ciry of Saint Paul is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of ciry owned right-of-way including certain properry adjacent to Jessamine Avenue between Oxford and Churchi113treets; and Whereas, 3ohn and Sadie Zibley and F7oyd and Carol Cnay have generously maintained portions of this city property for neazly 25 yeazs including cutting grass, removing weeds, planting suitable uees, flowers and shrubbery and adding other landscaping at no cost to the city; and Whereas, Mrs. Sadie Zibley and Mrs. Carol Gray have requested assistance in moving a large stone on this site to a suitable, prominent location for the putpose of installing a plaque in honor of their late husbands, Mr. John Zibley and Mr. Floyd Gray, who assisted in their maintenance efforts; now, therefore, be it Resolved, that Councii of the City of Saint Paul hereby authorizes the Depaztment of Public Works, with the assistance of the Department of Parks and Recreation, to assist in relocadng a stone on this site as part of the reb lar site maintenance and at no addifional cost to Mrs. Zibley and Mrs. Gray; and be it further Resolved, that the Council authorizes Mrs. Zibley and Mrs. Gray to install a plaque on [his stone to commemorate the dedication and service that John Zibley and Floyd Gray gave to their neighborhood and to the City of Saint Paul; and be it finally Resolved, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul commends Mrs. Zibley and Mrs. Gray for their dedication to the community, their on-going efforts to maintain the right-of-way in a park-like condition and their efforts to improve their neighbarhood at no cost to the city.
