97-682Council File # � � 0 d� Green Sheet # ` / � (� ���E ��F �i� `�a44 a Presented By Referred To Committee Date 11 1 WHEREAS, the City Employee Services Committee is preparing for the annual Employee Picnic 2 to be held the evening of August 7, 1997 at Como Pazk, and 4 WHEREAS, it is traditional for local businesses and unions to contribute funds, goods or services 5 to be awarded to employees who attend the picnic and make their names availabie to be selected 6 through random drawings in order to encourage employees to attend the picnic; and 7 8 RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council requests and accepts donations from area merchants, 9 unions and others to have available for random drawings at the Employee Picnic to be held on 10 August 7, 1497 and that such donations shall be deemed to be gifts to the city of Saint Paul; and be ll it 12 13 FURTHER RESOLVED, that such donations shall be deemed to be donations to the City within 14 the meaning of section 41.03 of the Administrative Code, and in compliance with all the 15 requirements of chapter 41 of the Admisnistrative Code __ Ye�s..
