97-678Council File # Green Sheet # ��I� g ,, �� ,, ,t,�,�_ Presented By Referred to RESOLUTION CITY OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA 13 Committee: Date 1 WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Division of Parks and Recreation holds a 3.2 beer license for the 2 City's Midway Stadium; and 3 WHEREAS, Section 19, Chapter 554, Minnesota Laws 1990 pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 4 1988, Chapter 654.021 allows the Division of Parks and Recreation, with City Council approval, to 5 sell 3.2 beer at events sponsored by the Division of Parks and Recreation; and 6 WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Saints Northern League Baseball Team will operate all 7 concessions for Midway Stadium in 1997. 8 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Saint Paul Saints Northern League Baseball 9 Team may use the Division of Parks and Recreation licenses to sell 3.2 beer at the Midway Stadium 10 in 1997 under the following terms and conditions: 11 1. Sales shall occur only when events are scheduled at the Midway Stadium. 12 2. That prudent care will be taken to insure that all sales are made to persons age 21 and 13 over. 14 3. That prudent care will be taken to insure that no sales are made to individuals who are 15 or appear to be intoxicated. 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 4. That the Saint Paul Saints Northern League Baseball Team shall, at all times, comply with the State of Minnesota and City of Saint Paul ordinances, laws, and statutes pertaining to the sale of 3.2 beer. 5. That the Saint Paul Saints Northern League Baseball Team shall provide liquor liability insurance in the amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) for the 1997 Stadium season.
