RESOLUTION
1 WFIEREAS, the Lubavitch Yeshiva of lvTinnesota was estaUlished in 1992 in Saint Paul as a Jewish lrigh school for
2 boys, and
3 WI�REAS, the school serves the Lubavitch community, an orthodox Chassidic sect of 7udaism, and
4 WHIItEAS, currently forty young men from the ages of fifteen to twenty-five years old from azound the world aze
5 enrolled in the Lubavitch Yeshiva of 1V�innesota high school and the rabbinical seminary, and
6 WHEREAS, the schooi has been temporarily located in the Sibley Plaza Shopping Center and has recently purchased
7 a new building at 225 North Wilder Street to accommodate its growth, and
WHEREAS, at the May 12�`, 1997 dedication ceremony the new school will be named the Lubavitch Yeshiva of
Minnesota - The Wexler Leaming Institute; now,
10 TI�REFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Saint Paul congratulates the Lubavitch Yeshiva of
11 Minnesota - The Wexler Learning Institute and wishes them well in their new building at 225 North Wilder Street.
