WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul, by Resolution C.F. #201092 vacated public land
in the City of Saint Paul described as:
Fourteenth Street from the Northerly right of way line of Jackson Street
to the Southwesterly right of way line of Canada Street and from Canada

WHEREAS, Saint Paul Public Works has advised that a sewer easement, running in their favor,
on a portion of said vacated area is no longer needed; and
WHEREAS, based upon Saint Paul Public Work's Certificate of Intended Non-Use, filed
voluntarily on behalf of said Public Works and made part hereof by this reference and filed in the
office of the City Clerk of Saint Paul, the City for itself and on behalf of said Ciry Department,
waives its right to the sewer easement in said vacated area as described in the above mentioned
Certifiacate; so
THEREFORE BE TT RESOLVED, pursuant to Sec. 130.06 of the Saint Paul I.egislative Code and
on behalf of the City of Saint Paul and Saint Paul Public Works, the Council of the City of Saint
Paul does hereby waive and release the sewer easement of Saint Paul Public Works in said vacated
property as referenced in above mentioned Certificate of Intended Non-Use; and
FURTHER BE TT RESOLVED, that upon the passage of this resolution, the Ciry Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to record a copy of this resolution in the Office of Ramsey County Recorder.
and that the City Clerk shall maintain a copy of said Certificate of Intended Non-Use referenced in
sa resolutio on file in the office of the City Clerk.

HealthPartners intends to build a parking ramp on the St. Paul
Ramsey Medical Center east lot. There is an existing sewer line
running east/west under city easement. This pipe will be rerouted
around the new ramp (approximate route is shown on attached
survey). It is our understanding that the other storm pipe currently
in the same easement is private property.
Please grant a Certificate of Intent of Non-Use to vacate the section of
easement marked on the survey, so the Medical Center could apply
for a building permit for the project.
