WHEREAS, on March 16, 1965, the Council approved C.F.# 222A89, a resolurion to vacate the
following public property:
All that part of Raymond Avenue lying nor[h of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific
Railroad Company right-of-way and south of the northerly line of I.ot 1, Block 19 of Baker's
Addition to the City of St. Paul Ramsey Co. Minn. extended easterly across Raymond
Avenue to the westerly line of Block 123 of Hewitt's Out I,ots First Division.
WHEREAS, said resolution was subject to conditions including the following Paragraph 4:
4. That the petitioners pay to the City the sum of $30,700.00 as compensation for the vacation
and provide the City with a bond in the Amount of $5,000.00.
WHEREAS, all conditions having been satisfied by the pefitioner, the said vacation was duly filed in
the Ramsey County Recorder's Office; and
WFIEREAS, the required $5,000 bond has now expired; and
WHEREAS, aduunistrative changes involving vacation procedures now allow the petitioner to
indemnify the Ciry rather than provide a bond;
BE IT RE50LVED, that Council File # 222489 is hereby amended as follows:
Paragraph 4 of the conditions and reservat3ons shall read:
4. That the peritioners pay to the City the sum of $30,700.00 as compensation for the
vacation.
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following paragraph be appended to the said Council File #

WHEREAS, on March 16, 1965, the Council approved C.F.# 222A89, a resolurion to vacate the
following public property:
All that part of Raymond Avenue lying nor[h of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific
Railroad Company right-of-way and south of the northerly line of I.ot 1, Block 19 of Baker's
Addition to the City of St. Paul Ramsey Co. Minn. extended easterly across Raymond
Avenue to the westerly line of Block 123 of Hewitt's Out I,ots First Division.
WHEREAS, said resolution was subject to conditions including the following Paragraph 4:
4. That the petitioners pay to the City the sum of $30,700.00 as compensation for the vacation
and provide the City with a bond in the Amount of $5,000.00.
WHEREAS, all conditions having been satisfied by the pefitioner, the said vacation was duly filed in
the Ramsey County Recorder's Office; and
