RESOLVED, that in accordance with Section 169.14, Subdivision 5, of the Minnesota
Motor Vehicle and Traffic Laws, the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby requests the
Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation to determine the maximum safe
speeds on the following streets or portions thereof:
WEST SEVENTH STREET from 100' east of Madison Street to Dealton Street
and to authorize the City of St. Paul to revise the existing speed zones in accordance with the
findings of the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

lower the speed limit of this segment of roadway from 40 MPH to 35 MPH.

Transportation. This Council Resolution authorizes MntDOT to investigate
