2 WHEREAS, Miun. Stat § 471.705, subd. la (1994), provides that a governing body
3 of a public employer may by majority voLe in a public meeting decide to hoId a closed
4 meeting to consider labor negotiatian issues; and
5
6 WI-IEREAS, it is necessary for the Council of the Ciry of Saint Paui to meet and
7 discuss various labor negotiation issues for the present term of negotiations; now, therefore, be
8 it
9
10 RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul will hold a closed meeting to
11 discuss labor negotiation issues pursuant to the provisions of Minn. Stat. § 471.705, subd. la
12 (1994), said meeting to be held on April 30, 1947, at 230 p.m. in the Councii Conference
13 Room; and be it
14
15 FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proceedings of the said cIosed meeting will be taped
16 and such tape shall be preserved in accordance with Minn. Stat. § 471.705, subd. 1 a.
