97-422Council File # � Green Sheet # ,J_ \�� '\; _ ^"� � �': y '�.; . � e _ : � Presented By _ Referred to 1 2 3 4 5 6 � S 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 RESOLUTION A�N7 PAUL, MINNESOTA J < Coxtmiittee: Date WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Division of Pazks & Recreation provides a variety of aetivities to youth including track & field; and WHEREAS, Macalester College of Saint Paul owns land at 1600 Grand Avenue; and WHEREAS, the land includes an athletic track; and WHEREAS, Saint Paul Parks and Recreation is in need of space for its growing program; �l WHEREAS, Macalester College gave permission to Parks and Recreation to use the field space for track from April 1 to August 15 1947; and NOW THEREFORE BE TT RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul shall defend and hold harmless Macalester College when using the field space for the City's track program. This indemnification does not include injuries or damages arising from hidden traps or dangerous conditions of the track itself. It is the understanding of the parties that the defenses and immunities provided the City and Macalester College by Minn.
