For exampie, Holiday has developed a video-based training program for sales personnef in the 5tationstores. This video instructs when and haw to ask for identification, as wel) as acxeptable fgrms of identification. The video informs empiayees that they must r�equest proper ident�cafion from any individual who appears to be 25 years old or yrounger, dnce the totraoco s�les part of ifie video program is completed, the amployee signs a document indicating that slhe understands state law reg8rding tobacco sales. Moreover, our training program also includes a review questionnAire on to6acco/alcohol sales to reemphasite the impartance af requestir►g identification. Holiday also shows new employees a series of pictures of people of various ages so the emplopees can practice judging which individuals appear to 6e 25 or younger. Furt6er, the Stationstare A'Sanager and the District Manager review tobsccn sales procedure with the employees, The metro-area District Man�ers visit each Stationstore in their district tvro or three times each week. On these visits the District Manager reminds the emptoyees about various store policies including the prohibifian of the saEe of fobaCCO and alcohol to minars. You will have a chance to appear and make a statement before the Council as to the proper penalty, if any, to be imposed. The recommendation of the licensing office is for a$200.00 fine. I£ you do dispute the above fzcts, a hearing will be set before an Administrative Law Judge. At that hearing both you and the City will be able to appear and present witnesses, evidence and cross- examine the other's witnesses. The Council will ultimately decided the case.
