Reaional Trail Initiative Grant Eagle Parkway Trail - Installation of a pedestrian/bicycle trail adjacent to the proposed roadway project connecting Shepard Road to Downtown. National Recreation Trail Grant Crosby Farm Park Trail Resurfacing - Resurfacing and selective reconstruction of 2.5 miles of paved trail system in Crosby Farm Park. 17 WIiEREAS, upon review o£ the pre-applications, the DNR has 18 determined that the referenced projects are eligible for grant 19 funding consideration, and ° 20 WAEREAS, the referenced projects have been previously 21 approved as 1996-97 C.I.B. projects or have been pro�sed as 22 C.I.B. projects for 1998-99. 23 24 25 26 27 WHEREAS, if grants are awarded, additional funding will become available for project implementation; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes the proper city officials to submit the referenced grant applications to the DNR, and �; q�,3a� 28 29 30 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon any grant award from the DNR, a resolution to accept grant funding, including a project budget, will be submitted for City Council review and approval.
