The basis for the adverse action is On November 25, 1996, a Saint Paul police officer entered Tiffany's Bar at 2051 Ford Parkway with aa eighteen year old female. They sat dowa at a table, and a waitress, later ideatified as Valerie Chadwick, asked what they would like from the bar. The 18-year old ordered a Miller Genuine Draft and a Miller Lite. The waitress returaed with the beers and accepted money from the female without requesting aay ID. Chadwick later stated that she did aot realize the female was uader age. This sale is a violatioa of Sectioa 409.08 of the Saiat Paul Legislative Code, as well as Mina. Stat. � 340A.503, and constitutes grounda for adverse action against all the licenses for the premises. If you do not dispute that the above incident took place, I wi11 need a letter from you stating that you do not dispute the facts. I will then have this matter scheduled before the City Council for a hearing on what penalty, if any, to impose. You will be allowed to speak on your behalf at that hearing. On the other hand, if you dispute the above facts, I will schedule an evidentiary hearing on the facts before an Administrative Law Page 1 a�-a3� Judge. In that event, you will receive a notice of hearing, so you will know when and where to appear, and what the basis for the hearing will be. In either case, you should contact me within ten days from the date of this letter. The basis for the adverse action is On November 25, 1996, a Saint Paul police officer entered Tiffany's Bar at 2051 Ford Parkway with aa eighteen year old female. They sat dowa at a table, and a waitress, later ideatified as Valerie Chadwick, asked what they would like from the bar. The 18-year old ordered a Miller Genuine Draft and a Miller Lite. The waitress returaed with the beers and accepted money from the female without requesting aay ID. Chadwick later stated that she did aot realize the female was uader age. This sale is a violatioa of Sectioa 409.08 of the Saiat Paul Legislative Code, as well as Mina. Stat. � 340A.503, and constitutes grounda for adverse action against all the licenses for the premises. If you do not dispute that the above incident took place, I wi11 need a letter from you stating that you do not dispute the facts. I will then have this matter scheduled before the City Council for a hearing on what penalty, if any, to impose. You will be allowed to speak on your behalf at that hearing. On the other hand, if you dispute the above facts, I will schedule an evidentiary hearing on the facts before an Administrative Law Page 1 a�-a3� Judge. In that event, you will receive a notice of hearing, so you will know when and where to appear, and what the basis for the hearing will be. The basis for the adverse action is On November 25, 1996, a Saint Paul police officer entered Tiffany's Bar at 2051 Ford Parkway with aa eighteen year old female. They sat dowa at a table, and a waitress, later ideatified as Valerie Chadwick, asked what they would like from the bar. The 18-year old ordered a Miller Genuine Draft and a Miller Lite. The waitress returaed with the beers and accepted money from the female without requesting aay ID. Chadwick later stated that she did aot realize the female was uader age. This sale is a violatioa of Sectioa 409.08 of the Saiat Paul Legislative Code, as well as Mina. Stat. � 340A.503, and constitutes grounda for adverse action against all the licenses for the premises. If you do not dispute that the above incident took place, I wi11 need a letter from you stating that you do not dispute the facts. I will then have this matter scheduled before the City Council for a hearing on what penalty, if any, to impose. You will be allowed to speak on your behalf at that hearing. On the other hand, if you dispute the above facts, I will schedule an evidentiary hearing on the facts before an Administrative Law Page 1 a�-a3� Judge. In that event, you will receive a notice of hearing, so you will know when and where to appear, and what the basis for the hearing will be.
