1 WHEREAS the City of Sainf Paul has the opportunity to submit a grant applicafion
2 to the Office of Drug Policy $'75,000 for funding for a partnership in the Easf Metro
3 Coordinated Narcotics Taskforce, and

WHEREAS the Office of Drug Policy requires a 25% match for this funding, which
would amount to $25,000, and
WHEREAS the award of the grant will allow the Saint Paul Police Department to
continue its partnership with the Dakota County Sheriffls DeparEment in this area,
11 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Saint Paul City Council authorize the
12 grant submission in the amount of $75,00� and designate a match amount of $25,000
