An administrative adjustment of wages was granted under the terms of the 1997-1998 collective bargaining
agreement between AFSCME Legal and the City. These one time equity adjushnents were issued based upon
criteria developed by the CAO management and were dependent on data included in the CAO personnel file
system. It was later discovered that some personnel files contained inaccurate information that impacted these
wage adjustments.
ADVANTAGES IFAPPROVED:
Conects one rime wage adjustments to reflect criteria developed by CAO management.

This Memorandum of A�reement is entered into by and between the City of Saint Paul and
AFSCME L.oca13757-L.egal. The parties agree to the foilowing:

Except as provided herein, the 1997-1498 Collective Bargauung Agreement between the
signed parties on September 18, 1997, shall remain as is.
Amend Article 10, Wages/Merit Pay, Section 10.10 to read:
In addition to the wages set forth in this agreement and the merit
pay as described in 10.3-10.4, there shall be a one-time annualized
amount of 14 50 to be used in on base equity adjustments ...
This Memorandum shall be sub}ect to the approval of the Ciry Administration and the City
Council.
