WHEREAS, Hubbazd Broadcasting has graciously offered to provide air travel and
related meal expenses for the Mayor, a Council member and City staff to Chattanooga,
Tennessee, along with representatives of local foundarions; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the trip is to stimulate interest and participation in framework
implementation for a project lrnown as"Saint Paul on the Mississippi", a long-term planning and
economic development plan, nowtherefore be it;
RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul hereby accepts the generous gift of air travel and
related meal expenses for the Mayar, a Council member and City staff from Hubbard
Broadcasting and extends its sincere thauks for its worthwhile contribution; and
FINALLY RESOLVED, the Council hereby appropriates the air travel and related meal
expenses for the Mayor's, Council member's and City staff"s usage and declares a public purpose
in this appropriation as enhancing riverfront development as a vital interest of the City.
