RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1997-1999 COMMUNITY RESOURCES PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on December 19, 1991, by Resolution 91-2287, the Council of the City of Saint Paul
authorized participation in the State of Minnesota Community Resources Program (CRP); and
WI�EREAS, as a result of the CRP program, the City of Saint Paul has, to date, provided neazly $7
million to neighborhood organizations for the provision of eligible CRP human service activities; and
WHEREAS, the City has been notified by the State of Minnesota that it is eligible to receive an
additional $750,324 for the biennium covered by Fiscal Yeazs 1998 and 1999 to be used for the original
purposes of the CRP program; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Mayor, the Council of the City of Saint Paui does
hereby authorize the proper city officials to execute a grant agreement between the City of Saint Paul and the
State of Minnesota for the CRP prograzn; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council does hereby approve a Financing and Spending Plan for
the 1997-1999 CRP Program, as follows:

As East Metra Community Ciinics, we wouid iike to register our strong
support for the continuation af Community Resource Program (CRP) funding for
Infant Mortatity Raduction. We have worked together previously with CRP
dollars to estabtish services such as bilingualPoicultural education and outreach
activities, and home visiting. These fiunds have been extremely valuable in
posi6vely impacting healthy birth outcames for women seen in our dinics.
On behalf of the communities we serve, we urge your continued support

RESOLUTION ADOPTING fiFiE 1997-1999 COMMiINiTY
WHEREAS, on December 19, 1991, by Resolution 91-2287, the (
authorized participation in the State of Minnesota Community Resources
PROGRAM
of the Ciry of Saint Paul
n (CRP); and
WHEREAS, as a result of the CRP program, the City of Saint P�il has, to date, provided nearly $7
million to neighborhood organizations for the pmvision of eligible C�'1' human service activities; and
WfIEREAS, the City has been notified by the State of i

As East Metra Community Ciinics, we wouid iike to register our strong
support for the continuation af Community Resource Program (CRP) funding for
Infant Mortatity Raduction. We have worked together previously with CRP
dollars to estabtish services such as bilingualPoicultural education and outreach
activities, and home visiting. These fiunds have been extremely valuable in
posi6vely impacting healthy birth outcames for women seen in our dinics.
On behalf of the communities we serve, we urge your continued support
and approvat for these funds.
