1 W�IEREA5, the AuroralSaint Anthony Neighborhood has undertaken efforis to honor Mr. Ron Pauline for
2 his service to the community; and
3 WF�REAS, for the last 17 years the Aurora(St. Anthony Biock Club under the leadership and tutelage of
4 Mr. Ron Pauline, has made a tremendous impact on improving the quality of life for residents living in the
5 area; and
WHEREAS, through Mr. Pauline's efforts and fireless commitment towards making a difference many
initiatives have taken place; property maintenance and values have increased in the neighborhood,
recognition of individnal resident contributions, Uni Dale Urban Market, Neighborhood memorial gardens,
renovation of numerous properties, youth training, and activities for seniors; now therefare be it
10 RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul, City Council, and the AuroraiSt. Anthony Neighborhood
11 Development Corporation declares September 24,1997 as "Ron Pauline Day."
