VJFIEREAS, the Division of Parks and Recreation administers the applicants and grants
program established by Ordinance 409.235; and
WIiERAS, the Youth Programs Fund Advisory Board was formed to implement the
adiuinistration of the ordinance for the Division; and
WHEREAS, the Youth Programs Fund Advisory Board met on May 15, 1997 to add
organizations to the eligible list for the 10% Club for 1997; and
WHEREAS, these new applications were approved by the Youth Programs Fund
Advisory Board;
9 1. Boys & Girls Club - East Side Unit
10 2. Boys & Girls Club - West Side Unit
11 3. St. Paul Urban Tennis Association
12 4. Save Our Sons
13 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RES�LVED, that the proper ciry officials are hereby
14 requested to promulgate an approved list of eligible organizations for the 1997 Charitable
15 Gambl3ng 10 % Club.

will be added to the list for 7997 and may then be eligible to receive direct donations from charitable gambling
organizations.

Organizations may receive direct charitable gambling donations which will be used to off-set the cost of providing
prorams for Saint Paul youth.
