We do not dispute that this did occur and I want to inform you on the steps we hace taken and are taking to prevent further violations of this law. All employees are trained to ask for appropriate ID if the person is not cleazly of legal age to purchase tobacco products. They aiso sign a form which outiines the law and company policy rearding the sale of tobacco products. The empioyee that sold to the minor had been trained and had signed the policy statement. She now is facing disciplinary action that may include suspension, being charged for the fine and possible termination of employment. We at Snyder Drug take this very seriously and being a part of the Health Care Industry I am personally embarrassed that this occurred at our store. We wili go back to all employees and intensify the training and wmmunication of the law and the responsibilities each empioyee has to follow the law to the letter. Kespectfully C . Robert 3.
