Resolution Authorizing the City to Enter Into
A Grant Agreement with the State of Minnesota
for Funding the Improvement, Enhancement and Beautification
of Trunk Highway 5 from Mpis. St. Paul Airport to
Interstate Highway 35-E
WHEREAS, the 1997 Legislature appropriated $25,000 as a one-time grant to the City of Saint
Paul for improving, enhancing and beautifying Trunk Highway 5 from the Mpls.-St. Paul Airport
to interstate Highway 35-E; and
WHEREAS, to receive the legislative grant, the City must enter into an agreement with the
Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City enter into a grant agreement with the State
of Minnesota to support the City's efforts to improve, enhance and beautify the Trunk Highway 5
entrance into St. Paul.

appropriation requires a resolution to enter into a grant agreement with the MN Department of Trade and Economic
Development.
