1 WHEREAS, the Selby Street Festival Committee, sponsor ofthe Selby Selebration
2 on Saiurday, September 14, 1996, has submitted a request to waive the 60% consent
3 requirement for a block parry/special event permit required by Chapter 366 of the
4 Legislative Code; and
5 WHEREAS, the Selby Street Festival Committee has azgued that it would not be
6 practicable to obtain neighborhood consent for their festival; now, therefore, be it
7 RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby waives the 60% consent
8 requirement for a block party/special event permit for Selby Selebration to be held
9 Saturday, September 14, 1996, between the hours of 10:00 am. and 8:00 p.m.
