WHEREAS, PED, and the Neighborhood STAR Board have evaluated the "Phaten Corridor:Williams Hill" proposal
and recommend funding of the proposal to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, approval of the project at this point means the applicant has six months to secure private match
commihnents, comply with project stipulations when applicable, work with PED and other city departments as
required, and sign the STAR grant agreement; and
WI�REAS, Pursuant to section 10.07.1 of the CiTy Charter, the following changes to the 1996 budget aze
recommended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council approves the funding of the Phalen Comdor: William's
Hill STAR proposal subject to compliance with the program development and implementation requirements of the
Neighborhood Sales Tas Revitalization Program Guidelines.
