RESOLVED, that, upon execution and delivery of a release in full to the City of Saint Paul,
the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay from the Tort Liability
Fund, 09081-0511, to the United States Postal Service, the sum of $4,741.25 in full settlement
of their claim for damages sustained on August 11, 1995 as a result of an accident with a City-
owned vehicle at or near Earl Street and Third Street East.

On August 11, 1995 a City of Saint Paul truck, driven by James Berger, proceeded through a
red light at the intersection of Earl Street and Third Street East, striking a postal jeep,
driven by Jerome Anderson. Mr. Anderson was proceeding across Earl Street and had a green
light. As a result of the collision, the postal jeep sustained $5,268.06 in damages. I
have reached a settlement with the United States Postal Service in the amount of $4,741.25.
