1 RESOLVED, that, upon execurion and delivery of a release in full to the City of Saint Paul,
2 the proper City o�cers are hereby authorized and directed to pay from the Tort Liability
3 Fund, 09081-0511, to Farmers Insurance Group as subrogee for Richard and Donna Friberg,
4 the sum of $2,615.24 in full settlement of their subrogation claim for damages sustained on
5 December 19, 1995 as a result of an accident with a City-owned vehicle at or near Maryland
6 Avenue and Highway 35E.

On December 19, 1995 a City of Saint Paul snow plow, driven by Sames Fitzpatrick,
proceeded through the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Highway 35E, striking a 1985
Oldsmobile '98, owned and driven by Donna Friberg. Ms. Friberg was proceeding across
Maryland Avenue and had the right of way. As a result of the collision, Ms. Friberg's
vehicle was a total loss. I have reached a settlement with her insurance carrier in the
amount of $2,615.24.
