WHEREAS, a project has been proposed by the Department of Public Works to realign and
construct Prosperity Ave. from Maryland to Rose and Rose Ave. from Prosperity to Barclay; and
said realignmeut of Prosperiry Avenue will place Prosperiry Avenue on and over
property at
WHEREAS, the condemnation and taldng in fee title of that property at 1416 Maryland Avenue
East requires the appraisal of that property by an independent properry appraiser from which to
make an offer to the owner for fee title to the property;
THEREFORE BE IT ORDERED, that tke Degartment of Finance & Management Services, acking
through its Director, is hereby directed to hire, retain and emptoy Blake Davis, Real Estate
• Appraiser, for the purpose of appraising real property in connection with the PROSPERITY
AVENLJE REALIGNMENT PROJECT. The parcel to be appraised is shown on the attached
map and description, both incorporated herein by reference, for estimated compensation in the
amount of $1(M10.00. In the event that Disirict Court testimony is required, additional
compensation will be granted for pretrial prepazation and court testimony at a rate of $100.00 an
hour.
