2 RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul gratefully acknowledges receipt of an
3 artwork, entitled "Wooding Up," from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous, which
4 shall be placed in the Office of the Mayor during Mayor I3orm Coleman's term of
5 office as so conditioned by the donor; and
6
7 RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul agrees to indemnify the anonymous donor to the
8 sum of $10,000.00, which is the estimated market value of the artwork; and
9
10 FINALLY RESOLVED, it is understood that the artwork will be available for public
11 viewing in the Office of the Mayor and will be returned to the donor at such time as
12 the present Mayor leaves City office.

An anonymous donor will present the City with an artwork entitled "Wooding Up". The
artwork will be displayed in Mayor Coleman's office during his term in office, at which
time it will be returned to the owner.
An artwork which represents the history of the Mississippi River will be on display in
the Mayor's Office.

DISADVANTAGES IF APPROVED:
The City will agree to indemnify the donor to the sum of $I0,000.00, which is the
estimated market value of the artwork. That sum would be payable only if the artwork is
lost or destroyed.
The City would be forced to decline the generous offer of this anonymous donor and
would not be able to display the historic artwork. ��������
