2 WI�REAS, Minu. Stat. § 471.705, subd. la (1994), provides that a goveming body
3 of a public employer may by majority vote in a public meeting decide to hold a closed
4 meeting to consider strategy for labor negotiations; and
5
6 WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Council of the City of Saint Paul to meet and
7 discuss various labor negotiation issues for the present term of negotiations; now, therefore, be
8 it
9
10 RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul will hold a closed meeting to
11 consider strategy for labor negotiations pursuant to the provisions of Minn. Stat. § 471.705,
12 subd. la (1994), said meeting to be held on June 19, 1996, at 2:30 p.m. in the Council
13 Conference Room; and be it
14
15 FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proceedings of the said closed meeting will be taped
16 and such tape sha11 be preserved 'an accordance with Minn. Stat. § 471.705, subd. la.
