1 WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Division of Parks and Recreation holds a 3.2 beer,and
2 wine license for the City's AarrietJRaspberry Island Park; and
3 WHEREAS, Section 19, ChapteY 554, Minnesota Laws 1990 pursuant to Minnesota
4 Statutes 1988, Cliapter 654.021 allows the Division of Parks and Recreation, with City
5 Council approval, to se11 wine and 3.2 beer at events sponsored by the Division of
6 Parks and Recreation; and

WHEREAS, Twin City Beverage and Bartending, will operate all concessions for
the Harriet Island Tent during the 1996 season;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Twin City Beverage and Bartending may use
the Division of Parks and Recreation lioenses to sell 3.2 beer and/or wine at the
Harriet Island Tent under the following terms and conditions:

Sales shall occur only between the hours of ]�.:�0 �.m. and 11:00 p.m.
That prudent care will be taken to insure that all sales are made to persons
age 21 and over.
That prudent care will be taken to insure that no sales are made to individuals
who are or appear to be intoxicated.
That Twin City Beverage and Bartending shall, at all times, comply with all
State of Minnesota and CiCy of Saint Paul ordinances, laws, and statutes
pertaining to the sale of wine and 3.2 beer.

20 5. That Twin City Beverage and Bartending shall provide liquor liability insurance
21 in the amount of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars (5500,000.00) foz the dates that
22 the Chautautqua Entertainment Facility operates. A certificate of insurance
23 naming the City of Saint Paul as an additional insured shall be provided to the
24 City Attorney's Office prior to any sale oY 3.2 beer and/or wine.

Twin City B� 'erage and Bartending will be the vendor for all food and beverage sold for Tent
events at Hrriet Island between June 14 and September 7, 1996. In order to sell 3.2 beer
using the Divison of Parks and Recreation's licenses, reolution by the City Council is
necessary.
