RESOLVED, that, upon execution and delivery of a release in full to the Ciry of Saint Paul,
the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay from the Tort Liabiliry
Fund, 09081-0511, to Westfield National Insurance Company as subrogee for Michael Lynn,
the sum of $7,585.88 in full settlement of their subrogation claim for damages sustained on
September 12, 1995 as a result of an accident with a Ciry-owned vehicle at or near Universiry
Avenue and John Street.

On September 12, 1995 a City of Saint Paul squad car, driven by Officer Mable Scheremet,
proceeded through the intersection of University Ave. and John St., striking a 1993 Nissan
Maxima owned aad driven by Michael Lynn. Mr. Lynn was proceeding through the intersection
on University Ave. and had the right-of-way. As a result of [he collision, Mr. Lynn's
vehicle sustained significant damage. 2 have reached a settlement with his insurance
carrier in the amount of $7,585.88.
