1 WHEREAS, the City Council directed Council Investigation and Research Center through
2 Organizational Cominittee meeting to prepare a report analyzing the appro�mate costs of
3 the current payroll system and estimate any associated costs and benefits that could result
4 from moving to a direct deposit system and make a recommendation; and

WHEREAS Council Investigation and Research Center has prepared the report "Moving
City Payroll to a Direct Deposit System" in response to Council direction; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts the Council Investigation and
Research Center report "Moving City Payroll to a Direct Deposit System. "
