RESOLVED, that upon execution and delivery of a release in fiill to the City of Saint Paul,
the proper City officers aze hereby autborized and directed to pay out of the Tort Liability
Fund 09070-0511 to Douglas A. Micko the sum of $5,000 in full settlement of lus claim for
damages sustained on August 20, 1992, as a result of an automobile accident with a City
owned vehicle at or near Robert and Kellogg Street in the City of St, Paul.

on August 20, 1992, at the intersection of Kellogg Boulevard and
Robert Street a squad car driven by Officer Robert Kosloske struck
a vehicle owned and driven by claimant Douqlas A. Micko. Officer
Kosloske was responding to an emerqency call and, although he was
operating his red lights and siren, entered the intersection
against a red signal. Mr, Micko claims he suffered a permanent
injury to his back as a result of the collision; that claim was
dis uted b an inde endent medical examiner. Mr. Micko's medical
F e"�9�f'I�es totalled $3,672.00. Mr. MiCko has agree@ to accept 5,000
in full, final and complete settlement of all claims. our office
recommends approval.
