The parade is starfing earlier this year due to the Qlympic Torch relay likely traveling on Grand Avenue in the early morning. On behalf of the Grand Old �ay Committee, they requested a waiver of the required block party permit petition in order to close Grand Avanue from Dale to Fairview between the hours of 8am and �pm on June 2, 1996 for Grand Old Day.
