96-4011 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 �RICI��'�� Council File # " �1 Green Sheet # .�.��r„ RESOLUTION OF SAINT PAU.L, MINNESOTA Presented By Referred To ', � is Committee: Date WIIEREAS, on May 3, 1995, the Council of the City of Saint Paul approved an interim zoning ordinance (Ordinance 95-350) which is effective far a period of one year and which permits drop-in centers in B-4, B-5, and I-1 zoning districts if located at least 600 feet from other drop-in centers and specified "protected uses"; WHEREAS, Section 3 of the interim ordinance provides for the extension of the ordinance beyond May 3, 1996, by resolution in the event such extension is required to complete studies and adopt possible amendments to the zoning code; WHEREAS, the studies of the plamiing commission and deliberations of the City Council to consider amendments to the zoning code will require additional time; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council extends the interim ordinance (Ord'mance 95-350), continuing the regulation of drop-in centers for a period of one year, or until the completion of studies by the Planuing Commission and deliberations of the City Council and the enactment on new zoning regulation if deemed appropriate, whichever occurs first.
