WIiEREAS, on October 11, 1995, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul in
Council File No. 95-1133 approved the May 1995 - Aprii 1998 Collective Bargaining
Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and the International Brotherhood of Electrical
Workers, Loca1 110; a copy of which was attached to that resolution; and
WI�REAS, while in the process of implementing that contract, it was discovered that
a language agreed to by both the City and the Union had been inadvertently omitted from the
final draft of the Agreement that would clazify the intent of the parties; and
WHEREAS, there are no additional costs related to this amendment that were not
already included in the estimate of the final costs of the Agreement previously adopted by the
City Council; and THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Saint Pau1 hereby approves the attached
amendment to the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and the
Intemational Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 110; and
FINALLY RESOLVED that in all other respects the Agreement and Council File
No. 95-1133 sha11 remain unchanged and in full force and effect.

(7) Contribute to a Union designated Vacation and Holiday FYind 10% of all wages earned
by participating employees covered by this Agreement. This contribution is subject to all
payroll deductions. For apprentices who started working as an apprentice on or after May
1, 1984, tUis regular Vacation and Holiday Fund contribution shall be based on hours
worked as an apprentice as shown below:

(8) Contribute to a Union designated Supplemental Pension Fund $1.20 per hour for all
hours worked by participating employees covered by this Agreement. For apprentices who
started working as an apprentice on or after May 1, 1984, this 3upplemental Pension Fund
contribution shall be as follows:

(9) Contribute to a Union designated Flexible Benefit FY�nd $1.65 per hour for all hours
worked by participating employees covered by this Agreement. For apprentices who
started working as an apprentice on or after May 1, 1984, this Flexible Benefit Fund
hourly contribution shall be as follows:

(10) Contribute to the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) the legally
established non-negotiated pension contribution. This contribution shall be 4.48 % of
gross earnings and shall be adjusted as required by State I,aw.
(11) Contribute to a Union managed Sick Leave Fund $1.05 per hour. This contribution
shall be subject to payroll deduction. Effective 05/27/95, this contribution shall be
decreased to $.55 per hour. Any portion of the sick leave contribution not utilized by
