WI�REAS, on October 11, 1995, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul in
Councii File No. 95-1173 approved the May 1995 - April 1998 Collective Bazgaining
Agreement between the City of Saint Paui and the Minnesota Statewide District Council of
Cazpenters; a copy of which was attached to that resolution; and
WFIEREAS, while in the process of implementing that contract, it was discovered that
a language agreed to by both the City and the Union had been inadvertently omitted from the
fmal draft of the Agreement that would clazify the intent of the parties; and
WI-IEREAS, there are no additional costs related to this amendment that were not
already included in the esfimate of the final costs of the Agreement previously adopted by the
City Council; and THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves the attached
amendment to the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Saint Paui and the
Minnesota Statewide District Council of Carpenters; and
FINALLY RESOLVED that in all other respects the Agreement and Council File
No. 95-1173 shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect.

APPENDIX D - REVISED 4-10-96
Effective April 29, 1995, the Employer shall:
(1) contribute to a Union designated Health and Welfare Fund $2.08 per how for all hours
worked by "participating employees," as defined in Articles 113, 11.4 and 11.5, of this
Agreement.
(2) contribute to a Pension Fund $3.25 per hour for all hows worked by "participating
empioyees." -
(3) contribute to a Vacation Fund $1.11 per hour for all hours worked by "participating
employees." A payroll deduction in this amourrt shall be made from the howly rates
listed in Appendix C.
(4) contribute to a i3nion designated Dental Fund $22 per hour for all hours worked by
"participating employees."
(5) contribute to an Apprenticeship Training Fund $.14 per hour for all hours worked by
"parCicipating employees."
(6) contribute an additional taxable contribution of $.59 per hour for all hours worked by
"participatiung employees" to a union managed Sick Leave Fund. Effective Apri127,
1996, this contribution shall be eliminated and this amount shall be a�plied to the
hourlv base rate.
Aii contributions made in accordance with this Appendix shall be forwazded to depositories as
directed by the Union.
The Employer shall establish Worker's Compensation and Unemployment Compensation
programs as required by Mimiesota Statutes.
